What conditions enable fertility? a drought or place that is dry and has no water. The conditions have to be lacking certain nutrients in order to grow and create new life.
What conditions impede fertility? Death, desease or just an innability to reproduce. No rain.
What might it mean for a country or culture to be fertile? It could mean that they are stable and running and creating new life while progressing as the future arrives.
Cite an example of a fertile social group in the world today and an infertile one. World Vision sets up water supplies in africa for people who don't have them. An infertile group would be PITA, who stops the killing of animals. they are just trying to stop things from progressing the way they should.
