What conditions enable fertility? a drought or place that is dry and has no water. The conditions have to be lacking certain nutrients in order to grow and create new life.

What might it mean for a country or culture to be fertile? It could mean that they are stable and running and creating new life while progressing as the future arrives.

An infertile group would be PITA, who stops the killing of animals. they are just trying to stop things from progressing the way they should.
