One may be pardoned from an assult or ack of unkindness by making it seem unknown, or like it didn't happen and another word for unknown is oblivion. Act like it never happened.

Axiomatic means an excepted principle or rule and in order to stay out of trouble one must respect the rules and be worthy to the rules.

3. Extricate

perplexities
Latin
the two words are opposites of eachother. Extricare means to entangle while extricate means to untangle.

4. Flout

Dutch
Whistling can sometimes be used to mock or scorn.

5. Scathing

Germanic
An injury can be severe and can sometimes cause great harm.

6. Vapid
Vappa
Flat or sour wine
Latin
Flat or sour wine can sometimes be dull and lack flavor. It can be vapid to the tastebuds.
